Any individual, firm or organization or corporation interested in the general advancement of Salem and the greater Salem area shall be eligible for membership in the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.
The following covers retail, manufacturing, wholesalers, and professional and service memberships.
Membership is a base rate + for all business members.

Base Rate................................$185
Plus $5 for each full time employee and full time equivalent.
(Full time equivalent is two part time employees)
Membership Investment will be capped at $1,500 for all companies employing over 264 employees.

Civic Clubs and Organizations shall pay a flat rate for membership. Such members shall have voting privileges.

Associate Membership shall cover retired or inactive persons who are interested in the general progress of Salem and the greater Salem area, and persons not elsewhere classified such as teachers, ministers and local government officials. Such members shall have voting privileges, but shall not be eligible to hold an elected office.
