Beautification Committee

Salem Chamber’s Beautification Committee – “Planting Pride, Citywide”

The purpose of the Beautification Committee is the desire to live in a beautiful, safe, well-maintained community that is inviting and is attractive to visitors, new & current residents and businesses. Committee members volunteer for “Clean Up Day” activities and they plant and water the downtown planters and landscaped areas of the city.

They award Yard of the Month and Business of the Month recognitions, as well as the annual Sunflower honors to local businesses and organizations.
