Yard of the Month June 2025

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification Committee would like to award June’s Yard of the Month to Thomas and Traci Hays at 1933 State Route 9. The couple has lived in this charming home for seven years, but Thomas grew up there as a child. Their landscaping includes several areas decorated with beautiful Purple Irises, Mountain Bluet, Black Eyed Susan, Daylilies, Hostas and Hydrangeas. Traci takes great pride in her yard and spends hours each week caring for her plants. She always chooses specific flowers to assist with pollination. Business of the Month June 2025

The Beautification Committee of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to award Heritage Union Title Company, located at 280 N. Ellsworth, with Business of the Month for June. For many years, the business was located on Broadway Ave, but the entire structure was moved to its current location several decades ago. Heritage Union Title assists with title and escrow services to the community.
